I’d like to take a break for a moment from my usual article writing, to share a poem I wrote for my mother.
Ten years ago my mother fought, and won, a battle with breast cancer. And ten years later, I continue to admire her calm strength that made her the survivor she is today.
Life has its ups and downs tragedies and triumphsand sometimes life comes close to death.
The strong survive as they stand and fight each battleuntil the war is wonand victory calls upon them.
And with them they take the knowledge and pride to knowthat when despair has laid at their doorthey can shout out and say,I’ve won!
Please, share your victories and inspirations.
Stumble it!

Read this on Digg.com. This is very nice and something I will share with others.
I wanted to share with you some other inspiring stories about people dealing with cancer - as patients and as family and friends. The blog is http://cancerfreetees.blogspot.com.
Congratulations to your mom.
